Chris Deans (born January 5, 1985 in Dublin) is an Irish soccer player who currently plays for League of Ireland club Longford Town. Deans plays as a central defender.
He played his schoolboy football with the famous Stella Maris Football Club he has represented the Republic of Ireland 17 times at youth level, winning two caps at Under 19 level and representing Republic of Ireland U-21s in the Madeira Tournament in 2006 which they won. Deans had spells with Derby County, Waterford United, Dublin City, Dundalk and Bray Wanderers before joining up with new League of Ireland franchise Sporting Fingal in 2008. Deans returned to his former club Bray Wanderers for the 2009 season[1] before joining Longford in January 2010.
